5th Annual Happy Paws Dog
Walk
Therapy Dogs of the Sierra will
sponsor the Fifth Annual Happy Paws
Dog Walk & Festival on Saturday, May
17th in
Tuolumne City. Proceeds from
the walk will benefit three
local animal rescue groups:
the Humane Society of
Tuolumne County, Rose Wolf
Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation
Center, and Friends of Animal
Control.Admission to the festival is
free. Activities include games,
contests, raffles and vendors. Dog
related activities include a costume
contest, an agility course, digging
for pigs ears, best dog trick, and
a demonstration from the Dancing
Dogs group, to name a few. The
raffle will tempt attendees with
wonderful prizes and all festival
proceeds also benefit the
local animal rescue groups.This
will be an exciting event for dogs
and their owners. Registration
includes a T-shirt (while supplies
last) and goodie bag. Early
registration is recommended, but
registration is also accepted the
day of the walk. The fee is $20 for
one dog and the walk starts at 8:30
AM. All are welcome to register for
the walk, even without dog. For
